Make a wish...

I've been a fan of wearing bracelets, making wishes, and especially environmental conservation all my life. Believe it or not, all three have finally merged. Brilliant.

Brazilets has teamed up with PlantABillion.com, a Nature Conservancy project, and will donate a portion of proceeds to help plant a billion trees in the Atlantic Forest in Brazil.

A friend of mine actually brought one back for me from Brazil a long time ago. Now, you can buy it ($5 US) online.

Buy, Wish, Tie, Save.

Macaron, not Macaroon.

If you like delicious, bite-size delicacies you must visit Jin Patisserie's newest location at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.

I went there this afternoon and bought some colorful macarons and interesting flavored gourmet chocolates.

Macaron flavors include: 74% Chocolate, Caramel Fleur de Sel, Peanut Butter, Pistachio, Rose, Tea, Ume (Sour Plum), Vanilla, Violet w/Cranberries, and Yuzu.
They also have uniquely crafted pastries, teas, and coffees. For those with more time, seating is available at their bar. Open Daily 10am- 6pm.

TIP: Free 30-minute valet parking with validation. (Way easier than finding street parking in Venice.)

Way Better Than Drinking MILK

I've driven by this place hundreds of times on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, but never stepped in. Today, my cousin-in-law came over with a big box of assorted baked goods (Snicker doodles, Oatmeal cranberry-cherry, Ooey Gooey Double Chocolate cookies, Brownies) from MILK. They were absolutely delicious! They even have homemade ice cream and sorbets, as well as specialty cakes and hot pressed sandwiches.

I love the logo, I love Harvey, I seriously love MILK.
