Las Perlas Mezcal Y Cerveza, a new bar that just opened in downtown Los Angeles (6th and Main St) across from Cole's and Varnish.  Come with friends, play pool, and learn to LOVE Mezcal.  The decor is authentic and playful - I definitely recommend grabbing a seat outside.  Also, try the Mezcal tasting menu.

My new favorite place to eat, drink, and be merry.  It's located in the historic Alexandria Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The vibe is laid back with a touch of European feel in a home-style kitchen atmosphere.  The entire staff is extremely friendly and the food is definitely worth checking out.
